About us

Committee Origin: 

In 2021, the CLC took special note of the large number of pastors who were nearing retirement, as well as the small number of candidates who were entering the public ministry. At that time, the CLC President decided to appoint an official recruiter for the public ministry. The Lord blessed those efforts. But with an ever growing need for even more labors in the plentiful harvest, in 2024, the CLC President appointed two more recruiters and established a CLC Recruiter Committee for the public ministry.

Mission Statement: 

“The CLC Recruiters have been appointed by the President for the purpose of promoting the preaching and teaching ministry among our synod. Our goal is to both recruit and retain candidates for the public ministry.”
